Bring back snow days! I miss the days of yore when snow days were full on closures. I want a day of inside coziness, hot chocolate, and a book. None of this remote work stuff. Sometimes I think we’ve progressed our technologies a bit too far. Instead of a day off, I get a scramble for childcare while still trying to manage a full workload. Harrumph.

• I said it before and I’ll say it again. This is going to be the year of YA and romantasy. The Dagger and the Flame seems to promise me both. The summary on this one also gives a bit of West Side Story vibes which doesn’t hurt.
