I take a lot of pictures. Between my job as an outreach librarian, my kiddo, and my inability to not capture things I love, my camera gets a lot of use. Sure, we have a fancy DSLR, but that mostly lives in our closet. For the bulk of my photography, I use the camera on my phone. You don’t need a fancy device to take good pictures. The best camera is the one that is with you in the moment.
When it comes to capturing beautiful images, it can help to use a few of the features available on your device. Editing, while useful, is not where great pictures happen. Editing can improve images, but the best pictures are captured in the moment. Using a few simple tools can help you improve your pictures with minor effort.
