In your household tool box (gift link), you should have a hammer (or two), some pliers, a set of screwdrivers, a few wrenches, a tape measure, and a whole host of other heavy items. These are all essentials to help keep your place in working order. But, these tools are not the only tools you should have in your kit. There are tons of other household items that have multiple uses.
As someone who has, generally, lived in smaller homes, I like to put single objects to multiple uses. Before I buy something new, I generally look around to see if I have something else that could handle the job. Nine times out of ten, I do. There are common, everyday household objects that can be used in new ways to get things done. I love when I can put an existing object to a new use. It saves me money and time. Plus, I get to proclaim, “Look what I did!” when some hack I tried worked.
