The last few weeks of this year are going to be a rush. Thanksgiving is late, it rolls right into all the things that are December (makes note of when to get a Christmas tree…), my University’s semester is running long this year, we’re hosting our families for Christmas, and then we dash right into the new year. At this point, I feel like I just need to grab on to my schedule and hang on for dear life.
Santa is not the only one making lists and checking them twice.
My website is due for a good revision. I’m planning on working my way through Career Contessa’s online presence to help with that.
I keep a Pinterest board of books I want to read with the kiddo. The latest addition is this delightful looking story about a bakery dragon.
Honestly, I have no idea what “The Pentagon’s Army of Nerds” is about but, with a title like that, the article had to go on my to read list.

DC opened a Go-Go Museum and put together a playlist of classics. Adding that to my to listen list.
I love a good biopic. Angelina Jolie starring in Maria has all the hallmarks of an Oscar bait, but that’s not going to stop me from putting it on my list.
Indoor, adult miniature golf seems to be trending. I keep meaning to visit the Swingers version that’s just two miles from our home.
I get marketing emails from the National Building Museum here in DC. In a few weeks, they’re holding a gingerbread workshop. We decided to make that a family afternoon event.
