The Best Thing is our weekly discussion thread where we share the one thing that we read, listened to, watched, did, or otherwise enjoyed recently.
My best thing for the week is my rewatch of the early seasons of Outlander. I’ve been watching in fits and spurts and each snippet of time I spend watching brings me great joy.
I've never seen Outlander. I have the [first] book but I haven't read it yet. Perhaps soon.
My best thing is that I went to see Jason Isbell with my best friend last night (in New Brunswick NJ). Great show. It was very strange because even though Eily and I are 50 and 49 years old respectively, we honestly seemed to be in the bottom 10%, age-wise. We can't figure out if we're just terrible at estimating other people's ages or if we really were amongst the youngest ones there. Not that it matters at all, but it just seemed strange.
