The Best Thing is our weekly discussion thread where we share the one thing that we read, listened to, watched, did, or otherwise enjoyed recently. My best thing for the week is tater tots. We finally got a chance to eat lunch at a bar we used to frequent pre-pandemic and pre-kiddo. I missed their tots. They’re nothing special but they always make me happy.
I guess my best thing is my Veronica Mars rewatch. Not much else going on with me, but I'm always happy to get back to the sunny noir of Neptune, California.
It's my favorite show of all time (tied with Freaks & Geeks). I didn't love the more recent Hulu season, but it's fine. Just not really the same vibe as the UPN/CW show from the mid-aughts. I do, however, love the movie. It's all fan service, but it's a lot of fun.
Tots are the ultimate comfort food. I get it.
