The Best Thing is our weekly discussion thread where we share the one thing that we read, listened to, watched, did, or otherwise enjoyed recently.
My best thing for the week is the flowers my bestie sent me from Urban Stems. I’m unexpectedly doing a second week of solo parenting. She wanted me to have something nice to look at to make things a little easier. Kiddo has already claimed “that one!” as hers… which makes it extra adorable.
Struggling to think of a concrete best thing. I guess my high point of the past week was Monday morning when I realized it was only two weeks until spring, my favorite season.
Sometimes the best thing is just an idea. Like, right now, I'm very excited for that feeling I get when I get to sleep-in. 9 days (and more to go) of solo parenting have itching to not turning on an alarm.
