I try not to fall for ads but, this weekend, I finally caved to downloading Royal Match. It’s a puzzle matching game that is heavily advertised in Duolingo. Once I figured out the strategy, it’s been quite fun. I refuse to spend money on these things so, when I run out of lives, it’s a good built-in time limit to stop for the day.
My best thing is that I just made a reservation to get omakase (chef's choice sushi/sashimi) with my friends Kate and Tim in Philadelphia in late October. I haven't seen them since before the pandemic, and I haven't had omakase in a decade or longer. Very excited.
