I am theoretically working all week, but I have one more vacation day for 2023, so more than likely I will take off on Friday. I don't do anything differently on the last day before the winter break, but I get so much more done, because a lot of the workaholics save all their vacation time for this week, and they're the ones who usually need my help in the course of an ordinary day.

We've been hosting Christmas with both sides of our immediate family for years now. Luckily, we all get along! Plus, we have the only grandbaby so it's easy to get everyone here.
